Artistic Philosophy

My artistic goal is to bring the brilliance, color and dimension of art glass together with the art of design to form an exciting visual experience full of visions, impressions and memories. I enjoy using a variety of different techniques in combination to achieve unique lighting effects throughout each work.

Education

• Created decorative fused art glass for 35+ years
• Studied art at Syracuse University
• Received class instruction in fused, kiln-formed glass locally and at The Studio, Corning Museum of Glass, from nationally and internationally-known glass artists including Roger Thomas, Rudy Gritsch, Brock Craig, Avery Anderson, Milan Townsend, Chad Holiday, and others
• Teaches fused, kiln-formed art glass at the Workhouse Arts Center, Lorton, VA
