The 2nd Saturday Art Walk at the Workhouse showcases the diverse work of more than 100 visual artists in a unique historic venue, creating an atmosphere that encourages visitors to immerse themselves in the richness of this creative community.

Guests can tour seven unique studio buildings, mix and mingle with artists, buy original works of art, experience ever-changing exhibitions and meet featured artists, all while enjoying light refreshments and music. The social atmosphere of the monthly art walk makes it the perfect destination for a date night or girls' night out, as well as for art collectors and art appreciation groups alike. These monthly events are also perfect for family art outings.

Urban Decay 4 Opening Reception

Live Graffiti- demonstrations by graffiti artists HKS181, Jeremy Gann and Kevin Rodrigue outside on the Workhouse Quad.

Artist Panel- Curator Debra Yarrington will facilitate a panel discussion on the influence of Hip Hop on contemporary art with Urban Decay 4 artists HKS181, Jack Labadie, Gabriel Pons, and hip hop performer Kenny Wells.

​Reception in McGuireWoods- Performances by hip hop dancer Kenny Wells, the DJ Expansion Broadcast & bassradio.fm, and local band Lightspeed Rescue and Thrive

W-5 Featured Studio Building
The artists of Studio Building W-5 were inspired by author F. Scott Fitzgerald quotations and to pay homage to his literary creations they have  placed a quote of his next to their dynamic works.
