Collectors Showcase 2014, a fundraiser and exhibit, features the best in visual arts from all the Artists at the Workhouse. The exhibit, on view January 11 – March 1, 2014, features up to 100 works of art by regional artists in the Workhouse Artist Program.  Paintings, fiber arts, photography, wood, ceramics and blown and fused glass are available to own in an exciting lottery-style auction and fundraiser on March 1, 2014. 

Best in show will be selected by renowned curator, Jack Rasmussen Ph.D., Director and Curator of the American University Museum at the Katzen Arts Center.  Rasmussen has been Executive Director of di Rosa Preserve contemporary art museum of Northern California in Napa CA, Executive Director of Maryland Art Place in Baltimore MD, and Curator at the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC.

Collectors Showcase 2014 Event

The March 1 Collectors Showcase event is one of Fairfax County’s most celebrated fundraisers to support the Workhouse Arts Center, its programs and arts in the community.
