Combat Paper Project

Event Date:
Friday, February 15, 2013 - 8:00pm to 10:00pm
Building W-4

USO Warrior and Family Center and Fort Belvoir and Combat Paper NJ present a 1 night Combat Paper exhibition at the Workhouse Arts Center.

The mission of the Combat Paper Program is to build a supportive community of veterans by deconstructing, reclaiming and communicating our military experiences through art. We deconstruct our past by cutting up our military uniforms, reclaiming our experiences by making paper from these uniforms and communicate our experiences by printing images and writing words onto Combat Paper. The telling of our stories transforms us through recovery and gives us confidence to bridge the gap between ourselves and the rest of American society.
