W-5: “Stories from my travels” by Muthulakshmi Narasimhan
Art has always been part of Muthulakshmi Narasimhan’s lifeline. She comes from a long line of artists and musicians and has been painting from the moment she could hold something in her hand. But it's more than that for her. Muthulakshmi was born in India, raised in the Netherlands, and ended up in America eventually. Art isn't just an exploration of her cultural heritage or erstwhile nomadic life. It's a way for her to heal her soul, find beauty in the world, and show the world that everyone can find healing in art.
