”Remembering Korea” is a series of works that explores Sarah Wise memories from growing up in Korea. There is color and play and humor that she hopes will put a smile on your face.

Ichi-Go Ichi-E is a Japanese phrase roughly translated as “In this moment, Never again”. Treasure moments because they will never happen again. Linda’s Renewal series is an ongoing series evoking moments of beauty in renewal from moments of transition of form.

Hardly a day goes by without some news about Global Warming. This series of work has been inspired by the predictions of rising sea levels, dramatic weather changes, melting ice caps, and the loss of beloved animals such as the Polar Bear.

This exhibit is a collection of landscapes and seascapes inspired by Nanette Catigbe’s love of nature. Most of the pieces are small and medium-sized and are referenced from Nanette’s own photos of Virginia, from the bucolic sceneries and parks to the vibrant autumn landscapes of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Everything around us is worthy of a painting. I look to take the creatures that live in our forests and under our porches and place them on a canvas or a tin or an ornament.
