Each month (and sometimes twice a month) Cool Cow Comedy's headliners and featured performers take the stage in the W-3 Theare. Host and Comedian Rahmein Mostafavi (who has performed stand-up as such venues as DC Improv, Richmond Funny Bone and Caroline's on Broadway) leads regular sold out shows, making Cool Cow a staple of the entertainment options in Lorton!

Mise en Dance puts the creative process center stage by inviting the audience to participate in the process of creating dance. During the 2nd Saturday Art Walk, dancers and choreographers will work in the gallery from 6-9pm and will have an open discussion with the audience about the progress. The three open dance rehearsals will culminate with Small Plates Choreography Festival performance on Friday, November 14, in the Workhouse W-3 Theatre.

Join the Potomac River Jazz Club for an afternoon of outstanding jazz music in the Rizer Pavilion! Three bands will be featured during this event: The Jefferson Street Strutters, The Capital Focus Jazz Band and The Conservatory Classic Jazz Band. General admission tickets start at $25, with discounts for seniors, military, PRJC members and Workhouse Arts Center members. Students with valid ID and children are admitted free from charge.

Directed by Paul Stein. An exhilarating look into the mind of a misunderstood genius. A few days following the death of little known painter Vincent Van Gogh, rumors are flying in Paris. Some say he was a penniless madman, a frequenter of prostitutes and soon to be forgotten artist of trifling quality. Others denounce him as a wayward priest and a foreigner. Many whisper that he took his own life in a moment of insanity. His brother, Theo, Vincent's confidant and lifelong supporter, is enraged. Tonight, he hopes to set the record straight. (75 minute performance, no intermission)
