This exhibit is a collection of landscapes and seascapes inspired by Nanette Catigbe’s love of nature. Most of the pieces are small and medium-sized and are referenced from Nanette’s own photos of Virginia, from the bucolic sceneries and parks to the vibrant autumn landscapes of the Blue Ridge Mountains. During summer, she heads to the beach mainly to watch and observe the waves, immerse in their dynamics and recreate the magic in her art. Nanette’s mediums are in pastel and oil for their richness in color.
