“Patterns and Repetition” February 2022 Featured artist in Building W-5
Building W-5 is Featuring its Patterns and Repetition for February 2022: Lynn Goldstein, Michele Montalbano, and Anu Lakshmi. Reception will take place during this month’s Second Saturday Art Walk on Saturday, February 9-March 6, 2022 from 6pm – 9pm.
Patterns and Repetition: This group show will feature artwork that uses pattern or repeating elements like color, lines or shapes to create rhythm and interest.

Lynn Goldstein has exhibited widely, winning awards, in nationally juried exhibitions, and her work is enjoyed in private and public collections throughout the US and Europe, including the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, the Schar Cancer Institute, and the United States Department of State. One of her paintings was selected for the collection in the Jean-Haffen Museum in Dinan, France. Lynn was one of fifteen American artists selected to participate in the Caravan international art project which took place at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC and the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in NYC. Her installation work was exhibited twice at the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C.

Michele Montalbano is a painter whose work is inspired by nature and everyday objects. She has an MFA from George Washington University. Her work has been exhibited in the Washington D.C. area including solo shows at The Arlington Arts Center in Virginia and Hillyer Art Space in Washington, D.C. Montalbano was a 2019 Trawick Semi-Finalist.

Ever since Anu Lakshmi could scribble, She has "painted." The walls in her house were a testament to her enduring love for painting and drawing. And so she went to school and for a BA in Studio Art. Anu has exhibited in various art shows and exhibits.
