When visiting the Workhouse, some see what was, the history of a place of incarceration, possible rehabilitation, cruelty, and abuse. Others see the potential, what can be, a place for exciting new experiences, creativity, and fun. In these paintings, I hope to present a chance to experience the Workhouse as it is now. Old, waiting for change, yet still beautiful and interesting.  

I believe to build positive change, you have to look at where you came from, figure out where you are going, but also look at the potential and strength of where you are in the present. I am inviting you to join me in the appreciation of the unique, decrepit beauty of the Workhouse…As Is.
