Galleries and Exhibitions

Painting, ceramics, glass, mixed media, textiles, and other visual arts

The Workhouse Arts Center Exhibitions presents contemporary exhibitions and events that feature local, regional, and national artists in three primary gallery spaces: McGuireWoods, Vulcan, and Muse Galleries, located in building W-16. Additional galleries are located in buildings W-5 through W-10. These galleries feature artwork from Workhouse artists, of which 60-plus artists have their own studios right on campus. Every month solo or group exhibitions are held by our artists displaying their latest work.

Visit the Monthly Featured Artists page and browse the current exhibitions and events below to see what’s new in visual arts!

There is always something different to see, as exhibitions and displays change often in the primary galleries, artist galleries, and artist studios. And, if you love what you see, you can take it home with you, as most of the artwork on campus is available for purchase!
