Blue is more than a color—it’s a journey, a language, a rhythm. In my work, Tangled Up in Blues isn’t aboutfeeling blue; it’s about getting lost in the endless depths of the color itself. Layered, woven, and fluid, blue moves through each piece like a current, shifting between light and shadow, boldness and quiet. From the electric pulse of cobalt to the soft whisper of ultramarine, these paintings explore how blue can hold space, create tension, and breathe. It’s not just a hue—it’s a conversation, a pulse, a state of becoming.

The inspiration for this watercolor series was my minds daily routine that is non existent to people who know me or people who do but never got the story. I have to keep myself in the art producing attitude as to keep my rhythm. Production rhythm is a flow and I’ve tapped into a recent workflow on my body growth as I turn into a respectable artist. The upgrades are visible to me and will continue to allow me to get better with timing and project completion. I want my son Ryan to see that progress is key and never to give up. As he sees me create drawings and paintings, he’s also seeing my relief and stress leave. To see him understand his body and mind as I create a healthy environment. Allows me to know my daily actions are a precursor to his healthy daily life.
