The Haunt Returns Oct. 6th
“This year’s event, titled Haunt: Game Over, marks the 10th season of the haunted trail at the Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton. Haunt will run on weekends from Friday, Oct. 6 through Saturday, Oct. 28.”
The 13th Annual Clay International announced on Prince William County Living
“The Annual Workhouse Clay International exhibition represents the depth and breadth of contemporary functional and sculptural ceramic artworks being created throughout the country. Art Projects Created by Workhouse Students Chosen for Display at the White House
First Lady Jill Biden's initiative, Joining Forces, created an exhibit at the White House to help educate visitors about the lives of military children. Young artists were asked to decorate mini suitcases for possible display.
Workhouse Teaching Artist Wendy Anderson lead a Workhouse Military in the Arts (WMAI) workshop for young students to decorate the suitcases, five of which were chosen by the White House!

Workhouse Arts Center Appoints Rebecca Super as Lucy Burns Museum Director
Lorton, VA – 10:00 AM August 10, 2021. The Workhouse Arts Foundation, Inc. is excited to announce that Rebecca “Becky” Super has been appointed as the Lucy Burns Museum Director. She is an experienced museum professional, and she will begin her new role on August 23, 2021.
