Background
Ava move to Northern Virginia after undergrad to pursue a career in computational linguistics, but never could quite shake the art bug. She shows her work across a few venues in the area, runs the local open life drawing sessions, and is available for a limited number of commissions per year.
Artistic Philosophy
Ava's work focuses on a realist interpretation of the beauty of nature and the human form, with close attention to harmonious and expressive color. A true fan of working from life whenever possible, she works primarily in oil paint, pastel, and other drawing mediums.
