Saturday, March 23, 2024
7:30 - 10 PM
“Every adventure requires a first step” says the Cheshire Cat. Join us for Collect 2024 - Workhouse Wonderland, featuring original creations by the acclaimed community of artists at Workhouse Arts Center. View this collection of 60+ artworks including painting, sculpture, photography, jewelry and more. Collect 2024 artwork will be on view in the gallery from February 3 through March 23, 2024.
Collect is an annual fundraiser benefiting the Workhouse Arts Foundation. Artwork on display can be won in a raffle at the event while you follow the white rabbit through a wonderland of experiences:
Participate in creative art activities (we promise it won’t be messy!)
Meet Alice and the Queen of Hearts as they frolic, sing and “fued” throughout the night
Watch English Dancing performances -and maybe learn a new dance or two
Snack on sweet and savory treats
Enjoy a cupcake decorating presentation and the delicious creations!
Sample Wonderland specialty cocktails
Delight in a Wonderland tea tasting
Guests can preview the art showcased in the event in the online gallery below and the actual on-site exhibition, in the McGuireWoods Gallery. Winners of each piece of art are announced during the raffle and guests can take their art with them at the conclusion of the event. Workhouse extends its gratitude to the Workhouse Artists for the submission of their original artworks for this event. You can visit our talented artists in our studio buildings on campus year-round. Please visit our Artist Directory for more information.
