Colonel, US Army, Retired.  Former Garrison Commander, Fort Belvoir.  Greg  is an occasional actor, a motivational speaker, and a bilateral above-the-knee amputee. He served in the U.S. Army for more than 20 years as a field artillery officer and served on active duty for Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, Operation Joint Forge, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Iraqi Freedom.  Greg attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, graduating in 1989 and he became an Army War College Fellow at the Institute of World Politics in Washington, D.C.  Colonel Gadson is a Purple Heart recipient.  He is also a photographer who credits his successful recovery from war wounds at Walter Reed Hospital with being able to engage in art through photography.
