Traci Oberle is a graduate of George Mason University. She is a member of the National Collage Society and the International Society of Experimental Artists. She holds signature status in the Virginia Watercolor Society and is a juried member of Potomac Valley Watercolorists. She represents the Washington Interdisciplinary Neurodiversity Group (WING-DMV.com).
Philosophy
Tracie Oberle is a mixed media collage and assemblage artist. Her work features natural and manufactured objects collected from many sources. Family, friends, other artists and acquaintances donate their personal belongings to expand the trove of inspirational materials. You may find scraps of paper, small toys, or pieces of jewelry on the canvas. Keeping the items sorted and organized is a key component to the process. Acrylic mediums are used to create an enhanced environment to showcase the treasures.
