November’s Second Saturday is all about giving thanks. Join us on this special Saturday to celebrate our blessings and show our gratitude and appreciation for our veteran community.

As always, our Second Saturdays share the joy of art. Browse a vast collection of hand-crafted treasures, including exhibits from our monthly featured artists.

• 6-9 PM Art Walk Check Map for Galleries and Studios

• 6-8 PM Exhibition Receptions, Building 16

  • 10th Annual Glass International (Vulcan Gallery, First Floor)

  • 17th Annual Artist Teacher Exhibition: Materiality (McGuireWoods, Second Floor)

• 6-8 PM Create & Sip: Geese Over the Workhouse, Building 10

  • Paint with the distinctive Japanese Bokeh background painting technique on a 10 x10 canvases. ($40)

• 6-9 PM Glass Blowing Demonstration Location TBD

  • Watch a master artisan create stunning works of art right before your eyes! The demonstration is free for all to enjoy. For a donation, you’ll not only leave with a special piece of art, but also help furnish our Hot Shop.

• 6-9 PM Thank You Letter Writing, Building 16

  • Join the Workhouse and Operation Gratitude and to say thank you and show our Military and First Responders that what they do matters.

• 6-9 PM Food Drive, Buildings 11 and 16

  • Help support our local community during this season of giving. Please bring non-perishable food items to donate.
